Xocai Review : Xocai The Healthy Chocolate
Hi there! Pamela Morgan here…culinary expert, cookbook author and event planner in New York City. If you have found your way to this blog you are most likely doing some research on “Xocai The Healthy Chocolate.” (If for some reason you are not doing research on Xocai, then welcome anyway!)
This blog will function as a multiple purpose forum so to speak. First, for those who are doing some research on Xocai, and for those looking for a real and detailed “Xocai review” you have come to the right place. This blog will talk about all things Xocai related.
Secondly, if you have seen any of my other blogs you will know that I write extensively on food…the food business, the NYC food and entertainment business etc. etc. This blog will function as a separate “niche” so to speak…focusing specifically on CHOCOLATE. This is a blog for the CHOCOHOLIC….so if you love chocolate, then you have also come to the right place. We will be talking about all things chocolate…
Thirdly, I will be talking specifically about the benefits of “Xocai: The Healthy Chocolate,” first on a nutritional level in how Xocai actually really and truly is, a healthy chocolate. So healthy in fact, that by eating it on a daily basis, it has helped me heal serious joint pain, given me more energy through out the day, helps me sleep, and I think (though I might be making it up
, has given me a more youthful appearance!
This blog will focus on my experience with Xocai as a prudent and exciting home business endeavor.
I will use this first post to tell you all a little bit about myself, and then give the first part of my “Xocai review.” I am totally passionate about food and entertaining and my life has reflected that for the last 25 years. I began my culinary journey many years ago when I took my first cooking class in the Village in NYC. I had moved to NYC to become a dancer/ actress and then after that first cooking class, changed the whole direction of my life. Now I am what you could call a food-a-holic or foodie.
After my initial love affair began with food, I worked for Sheila Lukins and Julie Rosso for many years at the renowned Silver Palate and then opened my own catering business, Pamela Morgans Flavors. In 1994, I opened Flavors Catering and Carry-out.. the first gourmet organic salad bar in New York. I had my catering kitchen in the back of the store and my clients included every fashion name and also Martha Stewart and former President Clinton. I designed events from 10 to 1000 people and worked with corporations, private individuals and charities.
Then I wrote a cookbook, “Pamela Morgan’s Flavors” that was published by Viking in 1998. This was probably one of the most exciting and challenging things I have ever done in my life. Cooking is one thing, but putting it all on paper so that other people can be successful at it is another. I wanted to help other people fall in love with cooking the way that I had. I felt that if I could successfully convey my love for cooking on paper, then I could help any home cook boost their creativity, their joy, and their interest in the art that is cooking.
It wasn’t until recently that I found Xocai Healthy Chocolates in September 2008. I had heard of the chocolate and the company through a trusted friend, but was skeptical that this was another product that promised to fuse a guilty pleasure like chocolate, with nutrition and healthy ways for living. Boy was I wrong (and I am usually never wrong when it comes to food!)
When I tasted Xocai, I knew it was the real deal… dark, 70% Belgium Chocolate. Melt in the mouth. Super delicious. Better than the major brands……darker, and without any of the waxes, fillers or caffeine that other brands include. I kid you not.
So I did some research. And I I found out that it was unprocessed raw cocoa and that the company has a world -wide patent on this cold pressing process. When cocoa is unprocessed and not mixed with milk, waxes, corn syrup and the artificial ingredients that make candy bars so addictive…it is actually one of the most healthy foods that anybody can put in their body. And Xocai is 70% unprocessed cocoa.
Most chocolates are made with refined sugars. . Xocai sweetens the chocolate with Acai Berries and and a bit of unprocessed raw cane crystals and blueberries…making the anti-oxidant levels soar!! and the anti-oxidants are much higher than most health supplements you will find at your local smoothie shop or health food store. We all have heard that anti-oxidants help prevent disease. Also, since this is a functional food, it stays in your system, unlike many vitamins.
Like I said earlier, eating this chocolate everyday has improved my energy, helped heal my joint pain, helped me sleep better and helped me avoid the ever-before-needed “afternoon snooze.” Plus, who hasn’t always dreamed of getting healthy by eating chocolate everyday!
I am so excited about this business and sharing this product with others. I hope you found the first part of my xocai review helpful. In my next post I will focus more on my experience with the exiting home business opportunity that is “Xocai the healthy chocolate” Feel free to contact me at anytime. There are so many ways to get involved with this company.
